What is News?

News is an account of events that interest and concern the public.


the six criteria of newsworthiness:

1.Unusualness- or, out-of-the-ordinary from every day life and events.
2.Significance- or, important events.
3.Timeliness- news must be brand new to be interesting.

6.Human interest- Stories of ordinary people or animals, that are heart-warming or dramatic in some way.
