What is News?

News is an account of events that interest and concern the public.


the six criteria of newsworthiness:

1.Unusualness- or, out-of-the-ordinary from every day life and events.
2.Significance- or, important events.
3.Timeliness- news must be brand new to be interesting.

How the mind can move objects

In some news I saw on CNN.com, technoligy that allows you to control things via your mind are becoming increasingly popular. They do this by placing censors on your ears that detect how much you're concentrating on something. I find it fascinating how much technoligy is advancing.

I found it interesting to hear how they maintain the 3D glasses, after you drop them off. They take them to a 3D Glasses-washing place, and are washed at a temp. of over 100 deg.! The glasses are $50 a pair, requiring batteries for a built-in security alarm. Who knew all this would go into something like 3D glasses!
